Pokemon Sun & Moon Ending : Damn it, Lillie !! (Spoiler inside !)

Why did she leave in the end ? She's probably the ONLY female character in a Pokemon game that I cared for. She also obviously has some romance going on with the main character. But she suddenly left without having any closure whatsoever. Why did Game Freak develop such a character, gave her majority of the story, and then just threw her away ?

I'm gonna be so pissed at Game Freak if we won't have another major story section with her in the upcoming Pokemon Star, when we'll at least have some closure.
What about your thoughts ?

The devs took the "ship" part too literally and put her on a literal ship to Kanto.

why exactly do you expect a pokemon game to include romance between two 11 year olds?

I honestly disliked the fact that it even mentions the in-game character's 11, especially when the main character is usually intended to be you. Have any of the other main games brought up an actual age in-game?

Not that it'll ever happen but I'd like to see a mainstream Pokemon game more focused towards adults, considering some of us have been playing for 20 years now (dear god that makes me feel old as sh!t) lol. Something like Pokemon Apex Alpha.

Well, I doubt its still focused in children, look at the new dex entries they take death as normal thing know.
Still you cant deny the fact that the character and Lillie had something going on

Dex entries have always been dark, the game was and still is focused on kids.
