Can't sleep well since a few days. Looking for tips.

I suppose the stress and anticipation of installing A9HL put my brain on haywire and that's why I can't seem to sleep more than 3 hours a night since a few days. I thought that once it was done the tension would fall and I'd be able to sleep 12 or so hours straight...but no. Haven't been able to sleep well since saturday either...even if I am on holiday so I should be free of any worries...

Don't eat for 24 hours and just drink water. Usually sorts sleep patterns for me if I feel the need to adopt one.

Fun...hum...seriously thinking about going to the local funfair tomorrow and go on the bumper cars...I like doing that even if I am 28 years old...

We do have nintendo 3ds anyway, sure we have games we could play together. :grog:

And who cares if your 28, fun is fun no matter how is done. That kinda rhymes.

Maybe not the best advice, seeing you already can't sleep, but did you try to not sleep at all ?
Make one "nuit blanche" to become more tired and re-sync on the next day. A friend is doing that if she lose her pattern.

read a book, make a puzzle, don't do active events, and let your body evacuate the stress.
Playing a video game might contribute to keep your tension, if you want to play video games choose something more calm maybe? not something with battles and actions.


That might not help you, but you have time to test.
You are in holidays, don't worry, profit :)

yes, body tiredness works too. working or doing a physical activity is a different fatigue.
You are a teacher? 28 years old, in holidays for summer ? your profile is maybe wrong.

I am an intern following professional training for persons with Asperger's syndrom in a specialized center...It closes in July until the 16th of August. Hoping to work as a freelance translator once the training finishes...

Me too and the 12 other people I'm doing the training with...XD I did'nt even know what I had until recently and I am not formally diagnosed yet...

I mean i have tsted for it, but weather or not is real to me is my opinion. So there is that, anyway i just meant that i have that and i dunno if i should be sorry you do or not since i could wonder if your life has been negative.

Nope...Always felt I was slightly different but lived normally apart from : a lack of friends and romantic relationships...

I heard it's not called asperger anymore, they merged it with autism in general one or two years ago.
It doesn't change what it is for people with that syndrome.

It looks like GBATemp has a lot of autism/Asperger users. it could be because video games helps or is a way to evade other people's attention.
