Taking a break from Homebrew

Welp, I'm doing this again. I'm going to unninstall menuhax and go to 10.4.

Why? So I can play muh games online of course.
But it's because I got no more reason to have homebrew... again.

I've already fiddled about with custom themes and found no interesting ones ( I know I can make my own, but I'm lacking creativity ), I've installed a bunch of legit cias too, I won't install only two legit CIAs, that is Mario and Luigi and Monster Hunter 4. Because I never liked the Mario and Luigi series and because I'm getting an original physical copy of MH4U soon.

So yeah...
I'll probably miss homebrew in some months again, but new exploits will show up anyways, so lol, I don't care.

Dummy, you don't need to be updated to play online. And you can update emunand to access online shit like eshop.

I didn't even downgrade. Emunand is out of the question.

And no, I did not want to downgrade to install CFW, reason being I have no money and there is a brick risk, my O3DS also costed me $300 ( IN 2014! ), so, nah, thx.

There's a less then ten percent risk. Even less then that if you know what youre doing. The latest sysupdater build installs safe mode first so if it fails you can still reupdate. Unfortunately 10.4 is out now, so theres no second chance to downgrade. It also deletes titles one by one prior to installing the lower version which helps stability. I did two old 3ds's from 10.3 to 9.2 with absolutely no problem. The only issue is sigcheck patches, like pasta, don't work on downgraded fw's. But it's an easy workaround by injecting fbi in h&s. But the real risk evaluation is up to you.
