the memchunkhax2 hype post with .3dsx

there is more going on in the comments that this post is somewhat outdated now.
read this. it's important.
  • you cannot use this for downgrading, installing .CIAs, etc. yet. it is purely for testing.
  • when you post results, include your model, entry point, and full firmware version (e.g. 10.3.0-28E).
  • this has pretty much no risk of bricking as it doesn't write to the NAND or anything. with that in mind I am not responsible if anything weird happens so run this at your own risk.
  • if you get a test value of DEADCAFE then it has worked.
  • this might help with getting "DEADCAFE":

F*** it, I'll take one for the team and try it. I went into this knowing I could brick my 3DS anyway so I may as well. Wish me luck, I'll let you know how it goes

Guys...I think its evident that we just wait at this point for Pingo and everyone to do their thing. Just promoting this doesn't gain anything, a half assed 9.2 build which barely has kernel access. Myria was right in terms of data inconsistency. Anyone who wants to risk FBI at this point, the brick is on your hands and no one else to blame.

I guess I will stay on 10.3 U installing my legit CIAs.
Can people install legit CIAs on 9.2 without a CFW? If so, you guys have Equal Kernel access as us people on newer firmwares.

Managed to downgrade to 6.X fine, then updated to 8.1.0-12E using Smash 4 (Eur). Going to see what I can do now

Edit: I for sure don't recommend anyone does this, unless you don't care if your 3DS breaks just wait till the downgrade is ready
