I'm part of the Co-operative education program, where I take part of this course all afternoon and I get to go to a workplace and start working there and I can choose to try college out, and in exchange I get 3 high school credits out of it. It didn't really start yet, as the college program begins in the upcoming Tuesday, and the workplace program begins in 2 weeks.
My classmates and I were dismissed early as we deserved it for working hard in the class (we were working on Interview skills and resumes). So as I leave the building, there's this man in a suit and his assistant who approach me (I was the only guy out of the building, perhaps other people went through other exits, or were still in the building). He introduced himself working for the New Democratic Party of Canada, who are running for the Federal Elections in October 2015.
He asks me if I need volunteer hours (40 hours of community service to graduate; required by the Ontario Government I guess). I reply I don't need community hours, as I already completed them long ago. He rapidly talks back saying I can still volunteer for experience that can appear excellent on my job applications; while I'm seeking employment. I'm not really an NDP supporter, so I just thought of trolling him and accepted the offer. He asks for my contact details, which I just decide to give in. (my plan was to just accept the expected phone call and never talk into the phone).
Afterwards, one of the school's security guard comes along and asks who he is and what he is doing on school property. I just decide to walk a few meters away, as I had to wait for a ride to pick me up from school. The Vice Principals and the other security guard comes along (who I am friends with) and tells him that he's not allowed to be part of the school property and just start asking kids our contact details; which I realized was correct. The NDP man and his assistant walk across our road where the bus stop is, after the school bell rings. As other students pass along, he keeps interviewing them. The two security guards and the VPs go to him and tell him he can't do that as well. They threaten to call the police for asking us for our personal information, and I believe the NDP guy used me as an example saying that I was okay with it (which I thought was okay). So they come to me and ask me if I was okay. Me and a bunch of other students replied that it was a bit creepy (which it was) and they go tell him that --UNTIL HE DISAPPEARS! After many search, it turns out they fled to their vehicles in our parking lot when one other student spots them.
The VP asks me if I want my name slit of his list, and asks the other kids too; and I'm like sure. And so she goes to him while he runs away and tells him to do so. As the man did that, he drove his car past me and stared at me.
The End.
Liberals FTW, btw.
