This was sourced from various sources on and off campus. The honey is from bulk-barn (part of another mead project), the granny smith is from the localvore cafeteria. The cherries are the rest from my snack from packing, and the pear is from the local corner store. Cheese slices provide a boost of protein and colour.
All of the pears/apples were soaked in apple juice to prevent browning and disgusting reactions.
The reason for all of this bento prep? My birthday party tomorrow! (Fun!) A couple of my friends are getting together for a party with music and mead and this is part of the spread!
