Wot m8, I have the Smash/Splatoon bundle and it is on 5.4. So it is exploitable to kernel level.I'm aware that the pre-installed games exist, but to the best of my knowledge (someone correct me if I'm wrong) they aren't "legit" in the way that they are on the 3DS. Even if they were "legit", access to the kernel would still be required for installation and dumping of said games and since the system that ships with the games pre-installed is on a non-exploitable firmware dumping them isn't even possible at this point.
Is anyone hosting this so we can all test it out?
Got a Skype? I wanna set up everything, and I'd like to know how to do itI have it hosted here: http://05sonicblue.com/wiiuhax
You can access it like this (for 5.4): http://05sonicblue.com/wiiuhax/?sysver=540
This has the loader; however, there isn't any payload yet, so you will just get a message saying the payload is missing: The payload binary doesn't exist / is invalid.
If anyone has a payload they would like to share, I can definitely host it.
Really? I could have swore I read somewhere that they shipped with 5.5. My mistake!Wot m8, I have the Smash/Splatoon bundle and it is on 5.4. So it is exploitable to kernel level.
That's exactly what I want to knowAre classic (snes, gba, sega) emulators possible on 5.5 with this if someone were to port or develop one?

Yes. There's no reason why it wouldn't be possible. All you need is a developer willing to spend the time to make/port one. Not saying it won't be hard though. That's exactly what I want to know
Yes. There's no reason why it wouldn't be possible.
I meant once a homebrew launcher was released. You do have a point though.Sure there is: 32K code limit (until there's a proper ELF loader), and no ELF loader worth using yet (and there's no public kernel exploit for 5.5 yet, so a hypothetical homebrew ELF converted into an RPX and ran via Loadiine isn't possible either). Once those are removed/dealt with, then it's more likely to happen.
