Yes... Hatched a 5IV Shiny Pokemon; 31/31/31/xx/31/31.

This one only took me 175 eggs. My second fastest Masuda method. The longest part which wasn't that long is the perfect IVs I was aiming for. Couldn't get a straight perfect 6, so I got 5 instead which is still top notch along with the nature I wanted; Timid. All this was done by me for the first time which isn't bad at all. That 6IV Shiny Ditto made it easy for me, I must say.

i made a surprise catch today.. my first shiny that i ever caught in the wild, was a shiny Zoroark... i just started my game, was going to do some level up grinding in my normal place, activate my exp pt o power, but no pokemon were coming out, then the 1st pokemon that shows up goes into all shiny fancy apparance mode, im like WTF, and it was none other than a level 50 zoroark.. my 1st and probably only shiny i will ever have...

Man that's awesome!so lucky... I have yet to see a wild shiny pokemon in this game....
BTW, if zoroark copies a pokemon is the copy shiny?

Breeding 6IV ditto and a 6IV rattled magikarp together. This is the result - has rattled, is 5IV (all but special defense). Took about 650+ eggs - I wasn't counting, but I kept the 5IV results and that took 4 boxes...

Finished ev training and breeding a harvester phanthump/trevevant, and tucked him back into the daycare. This was the result, after about fifty eggs. He's perfect - 5IV, adamant and missing that one perfect IV in sp attack. And he has harvest!

i was Metal Coat farming yesterday in the Safari Zone. and then i encountered a shiny Metang. the stupid thing would not get caught in my 20+ Premier Balls, 20+ Pokeballs, but in my first Ultra Ball.

it ended up having perfect HP, DEF, SP.ATK. and whatever nature that +SP.DEF -SP.ATK

every shiny i've encountered in the wild has been in the process of farming something.
*Hoppip, farming SP.DEF
*Sviper, farming SPD from Wingulls
*Lickitung, farming King's Rocks from Polliwhirls
*Magneton, farming Metal Coats
*Floatzel, farming EXP

and i've hatched shiny Pokemon when all i was trying to do was get first stage Pokemon- Honedge, Eevee, and Treecko.

(though point to note, I was berries farming the past week
My Kee and Maranga are growing.. And also Battle Maison for Starf, hopefully...)

Dude, you must find ways to reduce your chances:

1. Shiny Charm
2. Hunt with known methods that makes shinies also easier:
   • Masuda Method (a.k.a international breeding)
   • Chain Fishing (or Fish Chaining, whatever...)
   • Pokeradar (a.k.a Chaining)
   • Horde Battles (Think of it as it multiplies your chance by 5, because you encounter 5 at the same time)
   • Rumoured easier: Friend Safari. (I got Shuckle, Fraxure, Noibat, Dragonair, Druddigon from here)
3. Time. (It's all pointless if you don't have the time)
4. Constant mindless searching. (Also known as dedication, perseverence or "no-life-ness")
