Hi,

I don't know if you're still active but, I need some serious help making a custom ISO.
Using your ISO tool gives me a little confusion here and there, I understand some of the commands and options but, I just don't know what to do first. What I'm basically trying to do is make an ISO file
out of a folder containing the modded files for Smash Bros Brawl. I'm assuming you can do that with this tool, correct me if I'm wrong.

Could you please guide me in the direction into doing what I desire?

1.) Extract an images: wit extract IMAGE.wbfs WORKDIR
2.) Modify/Add/remove all files in WORKDIR/...
3.) Create a new image with new ID: wit copy WORKDIR NEW-IMAGE.wbfs --id=123456

And read: http://wit.wiimm.de/info/composing.html

Hi Wiimm,
currently, when using the "wit COPY" command a hidden file is created and renamed to the destination file when the conversion finishes. I was wondering whether you could add an option to create the destination file immediately at the beginning (so that it would be visible during the whole conversion process)? On Mac it's possible to add a progress bar directly in the Finder and I'd really like to try this out.

Read this: http://wit.wiimm.de/info/iso-images.html#selector
... and replace "/path/to/wbfs/" by "/dev/sdXX/".
If you use the --auto option, replace it by --part /dev/sdYY for the destination.

Example for adding 2 images:
wwt add -p /dev/sdg1 /dev/sdh1/RMCP01 /dev/sdh1/RUUJ01
Thank you, that worked.
I noticed that the selector doesn't work, for example, for the wwt remove command. E.g. doing wwt remove /dev/disk1s1/id6 doesn't work. Is this normal behavior? What if someone wanted to remove one of two games with identical id6?

All discs with the ID6 are removed.

I tested it with:
Code:
wwt init a.wbfs --size 12g -f
wwt add pool/wdf/animal.wdf --psel data -p a.wbfs
wwt -p a.wbfs ren RUUP01=RUUP02
wwt add pool/wdf/animal.wdf --psel data -p a.wbfs
wwt -p a.wbfs ren RUUP01=RUUP02
wwt -p a.wbfs ll
wwt -p b.wbfs rm RUUP02
wwt -p a.wbfs ll

Thank you, but actually my implicit question was: what if one wants to remove only one of those two games?

You can ask questions! ;)
Not sure, because I never used it. But I bet it is the first in slot order. (my way to implement it).
And if I remember right, RENAME allows index= and #slot=

Now I have looked into the sources. "wwt RENAME" accepts also #SLOT and INDEX. With the next release I'll change the built-in help to:
Code:
wwt RENAME|REN : Rename the ID6 and/or the disc title of WBFS discs.

Syntax: wwt RENAME SELECTOR=[new_id6][,new_title]...
        SELECTOR := ID6 | '#'SLOT | INDEX

I'm having a problem with a specific game. Using wit to build an extracted game to add new files I always end up with a working image but the game crashes after the strap screen. The game is Another Code, I've done this process before with other games and has worked perfectly. I can't figure out what the issue is, simply rebuilding the game with no modification is not working either. Any help is appreciated, as I've run out of ideas.
