Nevermind, I figured it out just now I think. You have to set all the blend modes in NW4C correctly.change the face orientation, if your'e using sketchup select everything and click invert faces

Yes, I did, I'm pretty adept to modelling in Sketchup.did you model everything yourself? And does the water work? How did you get it to work :-)?
Looks great now, I just need to tweak the lighting and make it a little brighter.
I've been talking about it a bit, and I am thinking I will most likely make Star Road 2 in SM3DL instead of SM64. I will, however, still produce another short SM64 hack. That water looks like star road 2

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I'm making a proper level.i think nw4c should export the texture animation from 3dsmax/maya, to make it work in game, remove the water from the collision and add a waterarea in the editor
Not really, I plan to make it so finding star coins requires a lot more exploration. I want to combine the linear style of SM3DL with the exploration of SM64.But wont it suffer from the lack of stars/exploration tho?
Oh, cool then, I wish you the best of lucksThanks, I'll keep that in mind when I'm making a proper level.

I also want to get some kind of hub working.
To make the game more challenging, you could use an approach like the one in the thwomp fortress i made, the last star coin is on the top of the tower, to go up there you need a platform, but to make the platform appear you must hit a ? block hidden behind some bricks (some stuff with the switches)Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I'm making a proper level.

Making the starcoin trigger something i guess yes, trigger the flagpole no, you could put the flagpole somewhere high and make a moving platform appearIs there a way to make star coins trigger the end of the level? kinda like getting to the flag at the final of a level.
No, there aren't, the only way to add some text would be to import a model that's a plane with some text as a textureAre there any speaking NPC's or signposts or anything of that nature in SM3DL? If so, it will be a little easier adding a story into the game.
What about the photos you see after beating the world's boss? Are them even editable? No, there aren't, the only way to add some text would be to import a model that's a plane with some text as a texture

Are they? Skelux could use them to show a bit of story or progress (slaping a texture with an image and text on it)they are
