I really hope the edited nds in the second Ds file download helps. I ran DeepL with a variation of code.
Reposted the Nds from my other thread Here (2nd ds download with lv 50 saves)
I'll keep text scraping the internet to see if I can pull any more save files.

I also found that as long as the save matches the correct version and its name.nds the pre patch save will work with the post patch file, so I will be trying a savefile database for old rom files in Japanese search and then Korean search to see if anyone has anything with further progress.

I also want to see if I can get some of the help menu text, and other menu text that isn't as relevant to the gameplay translated, and the monster book totally finished, but I have to find a 100% save file first.
It's okay, fortunately ereb just upload completed save file. Right now, I'm proofreading and fixing all hint list, equipment, skills, and story text.

For monster book, its 100% translated and fixed.

Btw, from my ISP..I can't download files from anonfiles

Copy that. I will upload the 7 zip here when I find any new saves.

I use edge since google chrome blocks the site through a filter.

If you use jdownloader, you can still copy my link in chrome to bypass and get the file.
The file is just a copy of my DeepL .nds file with ereb's save file renamed to the blank DeepL.nds file for compatibility.
The save loaded fine from the .nds file. I keep my .nds and .sav files zipped together since I have so many different versions of this game.

Great, maybe post a patch or your text files when Warrior is complete so people can review it while you start the next class.

Sure I'll post a patch for testing purposes. Maybe gotta release today or tomorrow...Have to tidy up my work for now.

I just tried playing on my DSI but nothing happens after creating a character, and after trying a couple times the game crashed :cry:

No such issue after an initial testing with melonDS on my end. Unfortunately I can't test on real hardware.
@edo1989 you're using a bad dump of MapleStory DS. For the next patch I encourage use the correct dump:

I use twilight menu++ , is there a nds bootstrap setting that I could change that would help?
you can press [Y] when selecting rom, and setting to nds-bootstrap -> No

It'll use ur kernel flashcart if u use one. hmm.. are u using dsi without flashcard? I mean directly from microsd slot

Yeah I'm using a DSI and running game from my SD card, under the bootstrap options I only have default/release/nightly I'm not seeing an option to turnoff :(

I just tested on real hardware (DSi/3DS+various flashcarts), no such issue. Seems it is just an issue with ndsbootstrap.
wait for next release, it can be played with nds-bootstrap.
Did you patch the game to work with nds-bootstrap? How?

it's a bug with nds-bootstrap because of its AP mechanism.

next release should include AP fixing for it. Will be updating today.

However you are using the bad dump of the Japanese version.

I own both the Korean and Japanese version of the game, I can confirm no-intro's data is correct.

As well I've gone through the 0.6.2 Warrior Prologue. Included is my text file.
First, I must say this is actually readable and thus infinitely better than the prior Red Snail patch. There are some small errors, except one.
The only big error is that Ayan's name is translated as "Ian". Her name is Ayan.

The rest are small issues. Note I don't speak Korean or Japanese. Some of these are grammar, and other are stylistic that I think makes a more natural sounding translation. Feel free to accept or reject.
Something to consider is instead of saying "<item/meso> received" in old GMS it is "<item/meso> gained."
There is also an inconsistency in the messages with regards to buttons. For example some will have "Press UP to", vs "Press A Button to" vs "Press B button to". I'm in favor of just dropping "button" whenever it occurs, so "Press A Button to" becomes "Press A to", but if button is kept then it should be "Press the A Button to" and whether button is capitalized or not should also be consistent.

for bad dump, I can't help it since I'm searching all over it and just found the bad one. And honestly, I don't have either, even if I want to buy it, I can't find it in my Country. It's very very costly to ship from other countries.

But, it doesn't affect the games because I checked it only has header overdump that only affects booting part, so as long as you can start it, you can play it until finished. However, you can patch my files over the good ones. I'll pm you about this.

Sorry for the miss about Ayan's name. I'll fix that and I'll look at your txt. For "button" text, I also thought to drop it but since it has small part in the game, I left it as it is. So, I'll drop all the "button" parts for consistency.

And the last thing, I don't have the dialog transcript, yes I don't have any since all dialog not in order. (see attached for example)
