Sorry to sound dumb and if this was done already but can this change the circle pad for smash bros to the d pad. Not sure if it was done already. Don’t really always like using the circle pad, sometimes it’s hard to control, I’m not sweating or anything but it just seems that way at times and it makes it a bit difficult to play smash bros.

On the first page I noticed cia files, does that mean at this point that’s all I need to change controls or do I still need to do all the other steps to change controls.

Problem: Button mapping doesn't work with Pokemon Ultra Sun.
So I'd like to say thanks to the people who helped out on this thread. I successfully was able to disable the R button and map select to R since my R button doesn't work by installing CIAs through FBI.
However, when I play on Pokemon Ultra Sun, the button remapping doesn't work. Every other game works, and I tried both mode3 and the regular CIA to no avail. Is it just an issue with this specific game? I know it is mode3.
I specifically used the CIAs on page 15.

Yo, could some one please set me up with a cia that remaps (start to L+R and select to x+a) I just bought a 2ds and when I got it the start and select buttons didn't work ._. I tried the cia a few pages back that said it was for Tassie which was supposed to replace a start button but apparently the file was misslabeled and replaces up with x .
Guys,please, can you make .cia for two things: 1) disable d-pad(right>none,left>none,up>none,down>none) and 2) make select + a > right ,select + y > left,select + b > down,select + x > up.Please.Sorry for english literacy.

I went through all 16 pages and found no one asking for this particular swap... which I find INSANE, considering it's practically necessary for MARIO virtual console games.

Still no way to switch ZL and ZR with L and R on N3DS? I keep replaying MGS3 and RE:Revelations only to remember why I stopped playing them, you aim and shoot reaching in for ZL and ZR 
@Feffe thank you for the info! I've added it to the FAQ. As for your swap, right now it's impossible to make the C-Pad act as anything else, so you won't have ABXY buttons anymore.
@Suzard what other mode3 games did you test? Also, what version firmware is your 3DS? I tried testing a bit and can’t get any mode3 mapping to work on mode3 games, so I’m worried that it may mean mode3 mappings don’t work anymore at all. Any further info is welcome!

I'm really sorry, but I was mistaken about what I actually needed. I tried myself but not getting the hang of it
What I really needed if possible is when Y button pressed to become left D-pad value and A button pressed to become the right D-pad value. Then Left D pad press as well as analog stick left changed to L value and right D-pad press as well as analog stick right changed to become R value. Now since I have lost the Y and A original functionality, can R button press become the original A value and L button press become the original Y value?

I second that, they are good. I always get the steak and add mushrooms to it also. But yea been awhile since had myself. I used to go there every morn for coffee and breakfast, meet with my work crew, but we all stop going, too expensive.+1 -
