If you have problems running this as a virtual PC (Windows 7 64 bit has issues), use Oracle VirtualBox its free and it supports Windows 8 as a virtual PC

It looks awesome, but I think I need a few days to get used to it since it's so much different than the other windows OSes

Best use a virtual PC as it will wipe you exisiting PC if you do the standard install.

You can always put windows 8 onto a USB drive, that way you can select the partition you want windows 8 installed.

I prefer to keep test OS's separate, the can still f'k up your data on a drive if you dual boot.

I'm pretty sure that I have switched back to text boot by setting windows 7 as main boot.

Well, after a day of use I'm less than impressed. Metro UI adds next to nothing, most of the Metro apps are slow if they work at all (why bother including the mail app at all?), and while the 'classic' Aero desktop remains usable, the lack of a proper start menu (short of installing 3rd-party software and doing more tweaking) is a slap in the face for people who want to get stuff done without wading through menu after menu of Metro crap.

I might change my tune a bit if XBLA/Xbox Indie games become playable on my PC with this Xbox Live integration, but I'm not holding my breath.
