Hello, everyone! This is a release for WiiWare and Virtual Console dats for OLL and ClrMamePro. They're not really Beta anymore!
RSS feeds are available at the bottom for knowing when new releases are published.
There's also a (very) minimalist website up at http://crackerscrap.com/dat/ (Thanks, Cracker!)
There are other WiiWare and Virtual Console dats out there, most notably those by Psykos. Our dat styles are a little different, so I will detail the features/points of interest of my dat here. There is also a "Wii DLC" Dat available at NoIntro, but this combines Applications, WiiWare and Virtual Console into one dat. (And it's only for ClrMamePro!)

Duplicates: I have made an extensive effort to eliminate duplicates in my database; I have opted to choose the "Best" release for any given title. For people who only casually collect and do not follow the scene, I find this to make more sense instead of including multiple entries for the same game, some of which have been nuked. You will generally find only one of each game from each region in here, with exceptions for (UPDATE) titles.

Integrity: I have made a good deal of corrections to the database at ABGX.net, as a result, several games have been added to the database and a few have been recently nuked. I have done a LOT of error checking here. I am fairly confident of the completeness of the dat.

RiffRaff: Nuked releases, Duplicates, and other undesirables are not in the main database, but are included in alternate versions of the dat. The purpose here is to help identify if your releases are bad. I have dug up 95% of the Nuked releases and duplicates to help you identify if your collection is outdated. The numbers for nuked releases start at #99000, and prefix the title with [NUKE]. This also includes some titles which are not nuked due to technicality but are otherwise superseded or have better versions available. I have also removed a handful of releases from the earlier scene days; particularly releases that were unpacked, or things not even in .wad form.

Injects: Speaking of riffraff! I have removed ALL injected titles from the VC database. You will find only valid scene releases here. This includes all 200+ 0RANGECHICKEN releases, and also a handful of injected titles that were released onto the scene in the earlier days. Every game in this database HAS been released commercially through the Shop Channel. This is by far the leanest and meanest VC dat around.

WiiWare/VC Only: Wii Channels, Utilities, and Game-based DLC are not listed here.

Duplicate Filter Full duplicate ID information (even for nukes) for use with OLL's dupfilter.

Images: There are a handful of images, but not many. I need assistance with these. If Psykos is willing to donate his to the cause, all the merrier, but otherwise I won't be taking his without permission. There is a public PhotoBucket gallery in which users may contribute screenshots. Please contribute if you're interested in this project; otherwise, screenshots are low on my list of priorities.
WiiWare: http://photobucket.com/wiiware
Virtual Console: http://photobucket.com/vconsole

Missing Releases: In the early days of the dat, there were a few releases that no one seemed to have, but no better copies were available. These have all been redumped now, so there are no missing releases in the "Good" dat. The old missing releases were formerly included by name in the nukes dat, but now those are excluded as well. In the future when I have a browsable website open for these dats, you will be able to see the "Missing" releases there.

Updates:: <strike>Generally once a week, on fridays. I may update more frequently, but I can only guarantee once a week.</strike> I lied, I lied a lot! I update once in a while. Oops! I am currently working on a beta for a system that will auto-update, allowing users to keep track of things in between my updates. I resume school in February and will likely be busy until mid-May.

DLC: DLC Content is also included; these have (DLC) both as a suffix to the title and in the comment field. These do NOT share the same Duplicate ID as their parent games.

Language Info: I have filled in Language Info as retrieved from Wikipedia, and NOE, but there is bound to be inaccuracies. Your assistance in reporting language discrepancies would be appreciated; it takes a long time to install all these wads, and I just simply don't have the patience to try each one personally.

RSS: I made some RSS feeds so you can track releases! Each RSS entry links to the latest dat so you can automate downloads of the dat when new releases come out. Each news entry also has a link to the NFO for the release on Ludibria.

WiiWare:fflineList

Feel free to make requests in this thread. If you think something should be changed, formatted a different way, feel free to ask: I am more than happy to consider your requests. If you would like to see this data in a dat format for another rom manager, by all means: let me know which one you'd like to see this dat in and I will do my best to make it happen! I only ask that after you make a request, you come back to the thread to continue discussion with me if I have any questions about your request. (I can't implement things if I don't know what you want!)
I think that about does it! Please report any errors or inconsistencies, corrections and etcetera in this thread for now, thank you!
Tips & Tricks:

There is no point in compressing WADs. Set your renamer to use the "store" level of compression (0 in OLL), or if possible, not to compress your roms at all. There is also no benefit to zipping duplicates.

You can use both the Nuke and Regular versions of the dat simultaneously in OLL. Point both dats to use the same naming structure and same "verified" folders. Tell the regular version to "Move unknown files", and have it move them outside of the folder. Tell the regular version to "Do not scan subfolders". Then, for the nukes version, create a subfolder in your verified folder called "Nukes", and instruct the Nuked version to "Scan Subfolders". You'll still have to move the nukes into the nuke folder you've made manually, but you can keep both dats active at the same time without major conflict.

You can sort the VC dat by System. Create a new text file and save to it the contents here:
Then rename the file "sort.bat" and run it.

The dats are having entries propered and old releases nuked constantly. I'd advise NOT renaming files inside of the zips: for example, while the outside zip mask of "%u %n %o (%e)" works well for VC, The "filename in archive" mask should not use %u. Try "%n %o (%e)" instead.

Credits & Sources:
