In summary friends, I am about to buy 2 WiiU controllers for about 60 dollars. In my country this is a good price because they cost 60 for each, sadly there are no stores still selling them.

The sellers swears his life that his controllers are real Nintendo controllers, and they seem to be real, but I am not still 100% convinced.

Would you guys help me so I know if they are real or fake?

Here are the pics:

I asked him for a picture from the back, he took it:

So what do you think guys? Are these real? The more I look, they seem real to me, but the one thing I found odd is that the front buttons and Dpad are black, when most buttons/Dpads are actually gray.

But maybe there are "genuine" WiiU pro controllers that have black buttons?

If anybody knows anything, please tell!

Thank you guys, as always, you are great and I'll appreciate any input.

If they're fake, they're very well made

I didn't remember any color difference on the buttons, so I just checked mine, and indeed there is a small difference (buttons are matte and top of controller shiny - you can see it around the A button with the head around it), but casually-taken photos viewed on a mass market LCD are not something I would really compare colors on...

I once bought a fake pro controller. I couldn't tell it was fake by the picture, but I could tell by the feel of it. the dpad was the dead giveaway. plus, the box the controller came in was smaller than a legit controller's (I always keep boxes in case I need to store things).

Ok, so after watching a few legit videos, Gamespot, etc. I've found out that genuine controllers can actually have black buttons and some other genuine controllers have gray buttons.

Thank you guys, I think they are legit, what you also can tell they are legit is in the shape of the logo where it says WiiU, knock offs have a bit wider letters and genuines have a "taller" W on them.

Thanks again, still if anybody can see something I haven't please don't be shy and tell :)
