Again, clock speed is pretty much a meaningless way of measuring a CPU's true power.

I just hope that it doesn't overheat and doesn't sound like a plane taking off (My xbox 360 elite is terribly loud)
A lower clock speed makes that more likely.

I don't think Mr. Harada would have mentioned this if the CPU wasn't an issue that came up during development.

I would say the fact that the Wii U CPU has a different architecture and thus different strengths from the PS3/360 is the reason for his problems. After all, the Wii U isn't the lead platform.
