Hacking wii remote shut down results in error dump screen

thought id already posted this but cant find it...

not sure what iv done but when i use my wiimote to shut down wii i get the black error dump screen. this happens from any app (wiimc, diosmios, cfg etc) the wii crashes, wiimote light stays on and i have to switch off wii from console.

its not the end of the world but just a biot annoying as i havent changed anything, it just started happening one day

would posting a syscheck here help or should i be looking into something in particular?

ha, it was just one controller. tryed another and it shuts down fine! weird
