That's what i did and it gave me that result so it might not work at all with the gamepad, might try it later with my classic controller to see if that changes anything.

    I'm sorry for my ignorance,
But could somebody tell me how to "offset 0x1478A from 0x6818 to 0x2000"?

Download a hex editor, open the file, go to 0x1478A, there should be the value "0x6818", change that to "0x2000".

With all the patches to use the gamepad in homebrew, can you also use the touchscreen? Can you remove the annoying "no touch" icon that appears in the top left of the gamepad and actually read the touch coordinates in a homebrew?

According to my research into this, not without
    1. Modifying DRH's firmware to send more data over the I2C bus, or
    2. Somehow leaving the GamePad in Wii U mode and modifying haios to communicate using the USB bus as Wii U does

Both of these sound very hard to achieve to me.

So the WiiU doesn't even know the Touchscreen is pressed? Then how does this error icon work? Is it stored in the gamepad and the WiiU just tells the gamepad "hey if the player uses touch display that"?

Either that or the DRH does it. Remember, it has its own arm processor.

That was before FIX94's latest changes.
Once homebrew apps start getting compiled with the latest libwiidrc that FIX94 made, we could start to see emulators, USB loaders and Nintendont working with the Gamepad.

    ???
nintendont will require at least a pretty big rewrite since it relies on a custom IOS; usb loaders will probably never work for that reason but yea for n64 and psx somebody just has to do it (though for not64 only extrems can do it via an update since that uses special software that probably only he has).
I did start on nintendont reworks and I'm making very slow progress, its really hard to do I have to say...

I got in contact with ekeeke and hes willing to update his Emu, but I'm going to wait till hes done it before I go cap in hand asking the others just incase it doesn't work correctly.
Are you friendly with Extremes? could you ask if he's willing to update Not64? I'd happily ask him myself but I've never spoke with the guy before?

I have noticed that Wii games have overscan (small black borders) on my HDMI screen while WiiU games don't. Could this be fixed by a fw.img patch, too? Or is that a vWii bug (I've never used the vWii before)?
