Yes，i edited the meta.xml.
Next I'm going to try Mario Kart Wii
now we need to find out how to make this launch homebrew apps.
Lego Batman Works With this method
and so does Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's Wheelie Breakers
Ok I got the yu-gi-oh exploit to run and nintendont to boot to it's starting screen but it throwing errors about ios58?
I'll upload a vid....
@SupremeDevice did you use an SDHC card when you loaded the Smash exploit? if so that may be why it crashed.. you NEED to use a 2GB SD card SDHC wont work..
EDIT: I got rid of the ios58 error by putting the XML in the nintendont folder like it said but now I'm getting a black screen freeze after loading the dol?
The reason Nintendont is throwing errors is because it doesn't have kernel access. That exploit is only userland, meaning it doesn't have full access to the hardware needed to run.
The only workaround I can think of is launching the HackMii installer, installing HBC, and when it automatically launches into HBC, launch Nintendont and see what it does.
LOL I cant load the hackmii launcher because it requires me to press 1 on the wiimote but the problem is the wiimotes are disabled because of the classic controller xml change
I am pretty sure modified ISOs dont work because it loads with an legit IOS. What we would need is to know which IOS is loaded when the game starts (probably with an exploit that loads a Homebrew which shows on which IOS it runs on) and replace that IOS with a cIOS.
Of course you should make a backup before you change that IOS
I'm pretty sure the IOS that does the checking is fw.img in code.bin (because it has to handle the emulation of the optical disc drive and controller). The problem is that it also has a signed tmd alongside it so vWii won't load it if we patch it.
We'd have to first patch whatever loads fw.img.
I've tried loading syscheck and dop mii just to see what ios its using but it doesn't work right I cant get usbloader gx and wiiflow to load (just black screen)
I'm off to bed. I mess with it some more later
Well the Wii U loads the fw.img so using a CFW should already support patching the fw.img.
If i remember correct someone already edited fw.img to support Wii Mote emulation via the Gamepad.
Nah, fw.img is a Wii IOS. It has a Wii tmd. The sigpatches on Wii U side have no effect after the reboot.
Yeah there was that guy with the analysis but he vanished plus he didn't explain how he did it.
If the tmd does not match then the virtual console gets stuck in a black screen and we have to pull the power plug from the outlet.
Has anyone tried injecting triforce games?
only legitimate disc dumps work for now.
Aren't triforce games patched to run on the wii?
Isn't triforce a variation of the Gamecube hardware?
Mario Kart Wii on the gamepad? I will never play the sequel again.
Yeah my bad. I got over excited there
it would probably be better if you linked directly to downloads like https://github.com/ihaveamac/nuspacker/raw/master/NUSPacker.jar instead of rehosting them.
CafeOS library and/or cafe2wii?
I'll do some testing first thing tomorrow.
Mario Kart Wii successfully injected
I use the "New Super Mario Bros. Wii" to do the template, the beginning is a black screen
Then I copied Xenoblade Chronicles' "fw.img" and "fw.tmd" to cover the code folder and worked well
