Yes I am using Firefox not IE.

I still do not understand why the Wii has to communicate with the internet. If I am backing up a game from a Wii to a PC through a router then surely it is not being sent from the Wii to somewhere over the internet and then back again to my PC.

How do you know if you have this special ios installed? The only IOS i ever remember using was cIOS installer and I don't think that's the right one. What happens when you don't have said IOS installed when you dump the iso?

Use any title deleter and look for IOS249

Yes installed but i've fix it. I see you need to download iso when he says the wii url and send some index. Nice application

I used DVD Dumper & had no issues with it. Back up games plays just fine.....just not in my Wii. Actually, none of my Back up games will play now.

Anyone else have this happen??

Hi,

I have dvd dumper v1.3 and put it in the apps folder.
I renamed it to boot.dol and tried loading it through hbc.
I select it but the wii keeps resetting.
Anyone got any ideas please?

Once I successfully use dvd dumper from my wii to my computer, what should my iso look like on my computer? I am using winrar. I have the winrar stack of books icon with the "game id".iso. Once I double click on the icon, it tells me "the archive is either in unknown format or damaged". Any help will be much appreciated.

Now you can just burn it to DVD. It's a Wii-format ISO, so ofcourse Winrar doesn't understand it.
But there are application that can open it to verify it's a valid ISo. WiiScrubber 1.4 for example. Or Trucha Signer.

Yeah, that is kinda weird.

Um, it doesn't go through the internet. It goes through your LAN. It goes straight from the Wii to the router to the PC.

I have been able to use dvd dumper for months and months.. I just had to send it into Nintendo cause of the dreaded disc read error.. Just got it back but before I sent it in.. i.. well.. deleted a few ios' that should've have been so as not to arrouse suspicion.. anyway, now when I try to use the dumper, it gives me the ip addy and all and I enter it in my browser as usual but it will NOT load in my browser at all.. can anyone help me please?!?

When dumping to SD card, is the Wii supposed to be making funny noises?

As i'm scared it might blow up, in case that is the SD card writing. I reminds me of a floppy disc drive. lol
