i inserted a burned copy of a game just for testing the dvd drive and i was expecting the ´´could not recognize disc¨ message to appear but the game banner appeared and it booted the game...

DVD´s Tested:

Burned copy of Pokemon Battle Revolution

Original copy of Mario Galaxy 1

Both booted fine

Is it dangerous? The wii doesn't have any signs of being opened (All the rubber feet are there, no missing screws. no scratches)

Also, i didn't mod this wii originally, it was modded by someone else a long time ago.

Checked:
- Priiloader settings ( nothing strange since i installed it)
-cIOS ( Only hermes 5.1 and d2x v11)

and if it's possible to identify it without opening it?

Syscheck:

Also, i didn't mod this wii originally, it was modded by someone else a long time ago.
That does not look like done long time ago:
IOS249[56] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v11beta1)
Or did you update the softmod?

Is it dangerous? The wii doesn't have any signs of being opened (All the rubber feet are there, no missing screws. no scratches)
Why should it be dangerous? A modchip is nice to have. If being careful there are no signs of previous opening.
Have a look if Priiloader is set to force IOS249 for disc games. That can be used to boot burned discs without modchip (but will fail loading both, copies and originals, of newer games → ERROR 002)
Another way comparing software based backup loading to modchip: Listen to the drive when playing a Wii original and a Wii backup disc. With softmod only the backup disc will spin only half as fast as the original. Cutscenes may stutter, loading times are longer. With drive chip burned discs run at full speed.

To get full insight you will have to open the console.
