Yeah, a picture of a black screen on the 3ds wouldnt look so clean, plus, there's no reflection at all from the screen...

If you have a 3DS look at the pic at the bottom of the upper screen then look at your 3DS. /thread
Oh and the 3D like is too close from the screen.

There's another issue with the proof picture.
Why do it in an unlit room? Even if at the US east coast it's 6pm, it shouldn't be that dark.
The lighting was done on purpose to make Photoshopping easier.
I don't have any software to check if an image is Photoshopped or not, but it certainly seems that way.
The screen backlight is also very unusual. It should not be creating a halo effect around the screen.

I'm surprised that no one has noticed that were this the actual size of the 3DS, the text wouldn't be readable. Not only that, but the clarity of the "screen" and the rest of the shot differ in resolution. But whatever - GBATemp being GBATemp.
