For anyone on the fence about doing this, like I was, let me guide you through my experience. I had some free time yesterday and decided that I would give it a try. I was extremely nervous because I didn't want to screw the system that I play the most currently. So, I asked questions and began the journey knowing basically nothing about what it would actually do for me. I already had EmuNand 10.7 which helped the process out tremendously I found out. Once I started, the first thing I discovered was that there were numerous users here that were willing to take the time to help me out and hold my hand through the process. Knowing that there were people out there made me relax a lot more. I knew that if I came to a step in the tutorial that I wasn't sure about, I could ask them about it before proceeding. Which leads me to the second thing I noticed. The tutorial is extremely well written. If you haven't read it, it starts you off with everything you need with download links and preparation work for the SD card. It was fantastic. Not once did I have to dig through the Internet to find something I needed. It also makes you 100% sure that you have plenty of NAND backups in case something does go off kilter. The third thing I noticed was that it took me a lot longer to do than I originally thought it would. It took me all day to do. Now, that being said, I have kids and I also stopped to do some work outside so that did take a decent chunk out of this but it still took a long time. This was my first time doing this so I made sure to read everything 2 and sometimes 3 times to make absolutely sure that I didn't screw something up. If you are like me and this will be your first time, be sure that you have a solid chunk of your day devoted solely to doing this because I did forget where I was at times and had to retrace my steps. Last, but not least, the final product. It is fantastic!! If you follow all of the steps in the tutorial, you will turn on your 3ds and you will boot directly to what your Emunand was. I didn't know it would do this so it was a huge shock to me. I was on a 2ds with sysnand 6.0 and using rxtools 2.6 to boot to my EmuNand. I had to turn on my 2ds,go to the Internet, load a bookmark, launch rxtools Dat, hold R, wait for it to load, and finally, get to my EmuNand. That sucked. Now, all I do is press the power button. Also, DSIware and GBA games require only one installation so you aren't wasting valuable card space. I am extremely happy that I decided to take the time to do this. Trust me, if I can do it, you can too! It is well worth the time and effort needed if you enjoy the 3ds as much as I do. You'll have plenty of help and you won't lose anything if you previously had EmuNand like me. If you want to do this but aren't sure if you could do it, you can.
