Hey guys...
Right now, I have to make a fast decision to choose between two PCs with different features, and since GBATemp has never failed me

, I thought I would make my question here:
I have to make a decision between two PCs(don't ask why):

1)
2.0 GHz Intel Processor
512 MB of RDRAM
ATI Radeon 9200 SE with 128 MB of VRAM
A Creative sound card(can't remember name) that supports 5.1 Channel speakers

OR

2)
3.0 GHz Intel Processor
512 MB of DDRAM
Built-in GFX(64 MB of VRAM) and sound hardware

What do you think? I'm kinda leaning towards the first, but I'd like to know your opinion towards this.

Thanks!

What kind of processors are these? Dual Core? Core 2 Duo? Pentium 4s?

Are these laptops?

What's your budget in USD? I'm certain I can find you a much better PC depending on your budget.

Never go integrated. I really want you to go for the first, but then, you can wait until next year when DX10 cards come out, and DX9 cards become cheaper. If you can wait until then, I really doubt you will be disappointed!

It's not that these PCs are for me, I just said if I had to choose one, which one would it be, because I'm actually giving one to a friend.
Me? I'm still on a P3 700 MHz with 64 of VRAM and a 256 SDRAM

But my next PC most probably will be an Intel MAC, as I got bored at windows anyway

And here I was about to tell you to "Get A Mac!

"
I guess that joke's less funny now that people are actually buying them.

Even though the process may be hard as I'm used to a few programs that may be available only on Windows, as long as DevKitPro and Firefox work on it, fine by me:P
BTW, Mthrnite, which type of Mac do you have? A Mac Mini? what do you think of it?

consider integrated graphic card only as a way to delay purchase of a true card
(I'd say nVidia rather then ATI)

Go AMD!
this means no MACs; but if you need a BSD- based OS there are a lot of free-BSD flavors around!
and GNU-linux rocks!

Wow... A lot of Macs I see:) If the first one isn't a Mini, what is it?

If you don't need one of them, you can always donate it to me

It's a Power Mac (tower)

Loud - As - Hell
It's a decent box but it has heat and noise issues. I'll be glad when I can replace it with an macintel.

..and yeah, drop by sometime, can't promise a donation, but I'll have a cup of coffee with ya!

I just love AMD fanboys.

Of course, you could say I'm an Intel fanboy, but... it's proven that a Conroe processor beats out the AMD FX-60 easily, and runs a heckuvalot cooler as well.

Proven.

Don't worry, AMD will be the king again someday, and then you can use the P word too!
