Hacking Homebrew Whats the easiest option of downgrading?

Hi my friend has just bought a 2nd hand PSP.The version is 3.11, he got a Pink music umd which has 2.71 on and he has liberty cities with 2 on it. Could someone tell me what the best option is to downgrade, willl i still need lumines?

Until 2.80 > You don't need any game

3.03 > GTA Liberty city stories, but just the unpatched version.

3.50 > lumines.

So I suggest you to purchase a copy of lumines =)

Yes you need Lumines, if you are to buy a new game make sure it's unpatched. Otherwise get a used one to be safer.

Both the Original and Greatest Hits work of Lumines

Got to check which one though, the japanese ones have been patched and some greatest hits ones i think

lumies and noobz downgrader. Though I think that only goes up to firmware 3.50 at the moment.

The easyest option is not to upgrade in the first place

Thanks for the advice, apart from the last answer, as i stated it needs downgrading as it was bought 2nd hand so
