Hardly possible. I bet 3DS will not support multitasking so you won't be able to run screengrabber in the background while playing a regular game.

Meh. If it does happen, I think it'll be by a per-game basis, like how it was popular last-gen to take pictures and save them to your memory card, only save it to the system memory or SD card, in this case.

---EDIT!: Oh, homebrew. Yeah. No. You're right.

Two words: N64 Emulator.

Agreed. Eventhough the 3DS has less buttons. They could easily find a way to make it work though.

Less buttons?
L, R, Analog, D-Pad, A, B - shoot. You're right. It's missing two buttons... Maybe A/B/X/Y + Analog?

Easy.

D-Pad: D-Pad
Analog Stick: Analog Stick
A: A
B: B
X: Z
L: L
R: R
Start: Start

You're missing the C-Stick (Which would more likely be mapped to the D-Pad), but you have Y and Select free. And are there actually any games that use all the N64 buttons?

Did anyone ever even use the buttons on the left side of the N64 controller?

I personally wanna see a PS1 emulator
. :]
Is that even possible?

if the PSP can..... yes it's possible
So, if people(hackers) make the effort we can have 3D ps1 games?

Be pretty cool if they did make a ps3 emulator though but honestly with the amount of buttons for most current day consoles i say it would be a hassle to play. As far as possible homebrew goes I doubt a ps1 emulator would be possible without lag or failure to work properly.

I want a decent super mario rpg running snes emulator.

Your missing two analog sticks if you count the direction pad, six axis, vibration, and r2 and l2. Even if ps3, 360, ps2, gamecube, wii, xbox emulation were possible playing most games would be a pain. Picture playing Halo. You probably have to go to the menu and switch buttons every 30 seconds.

The reason the psp can is because Sony already had software(I'm not using the right technical term) of the ps1 built into the psp. Yes I know the 3ds is more powerful than the psp but the thing is your going to have to start the emulator from scratch and get all the coding stuff while the psp already had all that stuff built in.
