Then you'll like what I'll have in store for the community tomorrow as I'm adding a proper USB port and not using just pins.
https://twitter.com/ZexceilXario , my work is now just posted here.

Here's hoping there's a 2000 model variant. Seems like the Slim gets no love when it comes to hardware stuff. :(

Because the interface was cut off , if I EVER get my hands on a PCH2xxx variant motherboard I may snoop around to find remains although highly doubted due to the fact they may have completely removed it all together.

Yeah only problem is because I'm pretty new to the PSV scene (jumped in about a couple days ago if not 2 weeks ago) I don't have much knowledge on it's software side , this is what I'm currently studying.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves now , take into account the PS Vita hacking scene just sprang up after years of everyone crapping on the Vita , I doubt we'll ever reverse engineer a Sony console without getting our pockets milked for cash in a law suit or even worse sitting in a new cosy space designated by Sony.

Ha-ha) Absolutely agree with you)
But SonY give up on PSV. We never did.
I personally always loved vita. And I think it's the best handheld ever made!!!
Shame on the Ubisoft and Gameloft to stop producing games for it. There are so many stupid free games on android and iOS they are producing for free. Why to give up on vita. It's so stupid.
And now everybody focused on CRAP Switch??? - tablet size piece of shit with no future

Marketing reasons heres why:
  • PS Vita came out and was expensive compared to competitors.
  • Didn't have a nice line up of games for on console release.
  • Developing for it was expensive.
  • A cycle of death started, No games being made due to dev prices ===> No one buys console ===>Dev risk goes up ===> Repeat from no one buying.
  • It was simply ahead of the time.

I understand all of this no matter how sad it is.
But if young developers start to manufacture games on free engines such like Unreal for example, it's very possible to resurrect Vita and make it the only handheld of "freedom" on earth .
And latter we can rise up gaming servers for free online gaming etc

Making a game still means paying sony , I doubt any young new devs will pocket that cash , maybe if the homebrew scene grows wings and some dude makes a cool online RPG or something then the PS Vita might be brought back but the chances are slimmer then the PSV Slim , chances are like 20%-45%

You make game unofficial and make it open source and play without paying Sony nothing))
Can you imagine something like Diablo or Torchlight??
But chances are really SLIM

If it turns out successful , I'll get batches made, I've done PCB manufacturing before it's not hard.

Note:It's open source anyone can make a batch with the gerber files lol.
Send it to china and have them print the pcb board along with its components. Very tempting but the cost...

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
