Hi. Tried to find an answer for this but I just can't find it in the ocean of unrelated topics that show up.

So I have a 2TB hard drive I've used to backup old PC's and for Wii backups, there's a ton of stuff on it. I connected it to the Wii U today to install data packs for XC:X and it requires to be formated.

Of course I don't want to ditch all my other stuff on it, and let the Wii U hog a 2TB drive exclusively! Is there any way to make a partion on the drive or something so that the Wii U will use it?

no partition possible.
When formating the drive for WiiU games, the console deletes ALL partition information and format the full drive to WiiU format.
there's no way to make multiple partitions on a WiiU formated drive.
