ROM Hack Updating backed-up games?

Hi, I ordered a flashcart a while ago to get freeshop, mostly to back up my games and I was wondering, how do I update those games from freeshop? do I just update them the normal way or would I get banned for Nintendo for doing that?

Yes its safe to update your pirated games and sell the flashcart as u already have CFW so u can pirate for free

Also, for the record, freeshop and backed up do not belong in the same sentence. Freeshop is piracy.

you can update "backups" via Freeshop or Eshop (no ban)

in my opinion it's easier to "backup" games using freeshop, sure you aren't copying the data from the card so it's not a true backup but same idea.

well nobody really cares, as far as I know only a few people have been arrested for piracy.
