I try to update the tutorial, can some one say if I'm right on this note ?

Note: If you're on a firmware that is between 9.3 and 10.7, you will have to downgrade to 9.2 to use the tutorial. Except if you're already using A9LH, of course.
Or if you have a way to use FastHax. If I'm right, FastHax allow the use of arm9 application like Luma3DS or Decrypt9 on the latest and original system firmware.

I think you meant safehax rather than fasthax for arm9 execution, and I think you can add that if the console has the right seed for a certain game, miscellaneous in d9 can update the seeddb.bin on 3ds, for the powerful seeddb.bin that can be found on Google(well those I found ) are pretty out dated, and you may get people asking they have seeddb.bin in files9 but they still fail to decrypt their cia/cxi, and the last if in the future someone says the extracted the cxi but using hackingtoolkit the exefs cannot be distracted, that means they didn't update their seeddb.bin or the game has a bad seed, tell them to import the seed via FBI and update the seeddb.bin from d9
All from personal experience and you're tutorial us great! I have no problem reading it even though my English is not well

Maybe I should add a troubleshooting part, at the end, including the seeddb file and seed import.

Almost all my 3DS games are bought digitally with the eshop, and braindump doesn't like digital. How do I dump these games to get a .3ds or .cia file?

You know that key site has the seeddb.bin too, right? No need to Google.

Hello People, im trying to figure out how to properly use the "rebuild a cia" option in Hackingtoolkit. i put cr in the command prompt, and it tells me its building, and when it finished, there is no cia file, except some bin files like the header and romfs, with custom in front of their names. Is that supposed to happen or is there something i'm missing?

I ran into this problem when I ran out of space. Once I ran it on a computer with a lot more free space, it ran fine.

Hey i have a question, Ive got everything all set up to reencrypt my .3ds file after editing it but the issue im having is i cant put it back on my sd card cause its just barely over 4gb, is there a way to encrypt it on my comp?

I ran it and it finished immideatly but I tink nothing happend. All i did was do the us thing then that immideatly, should i have created any folders or something before getting started?

Hello,

I've been trying to install an English Patch to Puyo Puyo Tetris, but I've not been able to.

My problem is that I try to extract the .CIA but all I get are .bin files. How do I get the folders so that I can replace the files from the patch? What am I doing wrong?
