Anyone ever looked at the files for this game yet?

I am hoping to do a google translate pass (+ some manual tweaks) on the Japanese text and then repackage it. See if I can get something descent for an "English patch".
So far I am not sure what to do after extracting the xci. What tools could I use and which file(s) include the text ?
Is it even doable ? I'd just need someone to point me in the right direction. (some kind of guide idk)
