ROM Hack Translation project for Pokémon Black2 & White2

Technically it could go 2 ways.

1) B2/W2 is built from scratch with just the world maps there. In this case it's less likely that there will be a swift item/name/etc translation (no story)

2) Its based on same with just modifications. If that's true then we should be able to just modify the current patch to black/white to just contain the items/name/etc.

i have recently seen on a site a downloadable pokemon black and white 2 so we will be able to start translation early
i am trying it now will give details when done and do some names and its survey free

I can try to help hack the rom, but I don't know any Japanese. From what I can tell, they only did certain 5th gen overworlds, which is a disappointment for my project, but anyway, just let me know if there's anything I might be able to help with!

And to those who are spamming this thread with posts about how this is a waste of time. Well. Video games are a waste of time. Translating this is actually helpful for people with the ability to do so, as it will provide them with some experience, albeit slight, that they may use in the real world to maybe get jobs localizing things. You've wasted time complaining about wasting time. You've stretched this thread out to 5 pages with irrelevancy. Can't wait to see what huge contributions you apparently make to society!

If it didn't work, that would be a fact.

EDIT: Why are you even using No$GBA? I couldn't imagine a worse emulator, even for the GB.

It works, but gets stuck at Main Menu. Also, why i should use Desmume? For some random reason it framerate drops if i don't put a fan infront of the PC o.o

Nah, i've used to play the games on this computer but then it started to do that for some reason, i haven't changed anything. Mayb temperature changes. :x
