Hi, I want to transfer a save from sky3ds to a legit game bought from eshop, using the Save data Transfer Tool.
is that possible?

It should be possible. Sky3DS simulates a real cartridge, so why shouldn't it work?Hi, I want to transfer a save from sky3ds to a legit game bought from eshop, using the Save data Transfer Tool.

He asked if it was possible to transfer save from sky3ds game to eshop using Save Data Transfer tool, and since he's using Sky3DS and bought something from eshop then that probably means he's on the lastest firmware, so he can't use SDF, plus that it's not necessary at all.

save data transfer tool is nintendo's tool...transfer cartridge data to digital title. (one side only)Sky3ds won't work with Powersaves... I've tried it.
So this is a save dumper/injector for those new userland hacks? You should be able to transfer the save using save_manager if you can run tubehax or the other hax's. Just backup the Sky3ds then restore to the eshop version. I assume it would be best to already have a save on the eShop to overwrite instead of just trying to create it from scratch.
The homebrew, all credit goes to profi200 on IRC I was just at the right place at the right time to see the release.

Yes, just a basic one that even the developer specified people should stop using as soon as TDVS is released. So this is a save dumper/injector for those new userland hacks?
Neat, trying it out right now, any information about how to set it up, or is it just self explanatory?Yes, just a basic one that even the developer specified people should stop using as soon as TDVS is released.
Just run it from the homebrew launcher and use right or left to select a game then choose backup or restore.Neat, trying it out right now, any information about how to set it up, or is it just self explanatory?
I see. Thanks for the link.Just run it from the homebrew launcher and use right or left to select a game then choose backup or restore.
Being basic it just copies the save files to a folder on the sd card. But it is really basic so all files get merged in one folder so you may want to keep it clean since I don't know what happens if you have multiple different saves backed up then try a restore it may try putting all files into the same game.
I select it with ACNL and I get a glitchy screen. You should be able to transfer the save using save_manager if you can run tubehax or the other hax's. Most of my games are catridges (the game saves I'm trying to dump are from catridges). Also yeah I checked and there were some files but the first time I dumped I got a main file but when I redump I don't get that anymore.Did you check if it worked by looking on the sd card? It doesn't do much just copy the files. Also be careful and probably don't restore that game of using a eshop version since this program doesn't mention anything about secure values which means you can't downgrade saves the same as eshop pokemon.

I cleaned the folder. In fact, I deleted it.Did you clean out the folder after the first dump or is subsequent dumps just overwriting the old files with the new one?
That would be correct a Pokemon save is just a single main file.OK, so now i tried with pokemon x/y and i only got one "main" file
