Nope i just used cdnsp to download super mario odyssey and transfered it with memloader and it still gives me exact error...
pls help

Make sure you have enough space on your SD Card since Tinfoil currently only installs to the microSD card.

I do unless super mario odyssey takes up like 10 gigs of space

I had the same error but it was because i didn´t have enough space.

hello im having the same issue...kind of...let me explain


a week ago (11/25/2018 Sunday) I first used that USB installation method and worked perfectly.

Yesterday (12/02/2018 Sunday) began to show flaws, what seems is related to the placeholder (placehld)


at the end of the installation since yesterday,started to give 3 diferents errors,The first its failed to create flaceholdr error code 0x00004e02.

The Second one its a "Error has ocurred" screen.

And the last one,its looks like the game installed perfectly,but when i boot the game, on the first load the game froze,forcing me to hold power up for 12 seconds.

so..anyone knows why this is hapening? it was working perfectly for 1 week

My Switch is a European on Firmware 5.1.0 Using ReinX,and the Tinfoil Version is 0.2.1
My pc is Runnin a Windows 7 -64 bits and i installed the drivers using zadig 2.4

Luckily the old classic method using sd cards still works

Oh and the sd card was emtpy with only the necessary to run tinfoil and homebrew,no games at all, and its a microsd 32gb kingston class 10
