Simple way:
1.Download that 60fps zip only, extract es patches folder under your atmosphere/sxos/reinx (- whatever CFW you're using) folder

2.Backup your save using checkpoint (you should have entered game and have 1 save at least)

3.Edit the txt file under 'user.settings' folder in your backup folder (note: that W3 backup folder only has title id of your game region, so don't look for the name)

under [rendering] add those:
DynamicResolutionOverride=-1
DRGameTargetFrameTimeInMs=16.0
DRCinematicTargetFrameTimeInMs=31.5

Now those numbers are what you have to change as your preferences:

- The frametime is what it is: 31.5 mean 1 frame per 31.5 milisecond = near 32 frame per second, changing those to 25.0 you'll have 40fps targeting, 16.0 is the number for 62fps. The game will drop resolutions to reach those frametimes (Cinematic target frame time by default was 40.0 so in cutscene fps drop alot for higher resolutions)

- In Dynamic Res Override: replace -1 with one from those values (0 to 25) to limit your lowest resolutions (or highest) as your preference, if you want highest fps possible just leave this value by default (yeah edit this setting only for something like 900x508 to 956x536p target 40fps...)

Value | Handheld resolution
0 | 832x468 | 956x536
1 | 848x476 | 956x536
2 | 860x488 | 956x536
3 | 884x496 | 956x536
4 | 900x508 | 956x536
5 | 920x516 | 956x536
6 | 936x528 | 956x536
7 | 956x536 | 956x536
8 | 972x548 | 972x548
9 | 992x556 | 992x556
10 | 1008x568 | 1008x568
11 | 1028x576 | 1028x576
12 | 1044x588 | 1044x588
13 | 1064x596 | 1064x596
14 | 1080x608 | 1080x608
15 | 1100x616 | 1100x616
16 | 1116x628 | 1116x628
17 | 1136x636 | 1136x636
18 | 1152x648 | 1152x648
19 | 1172x656 | 1172x656
20 | 1188x668 | 1188x668
21 | 1208x676 | 1208x676
22 | 1224x688 | 1224x688
23 | 1244x696 | 1244x696
24 | 1260x708 | 1260x708
25 | 1280x720 | 1280x720

4.Open checkpoint and restore your save

Edit: seem after testing for a while those dynamic res options have a glitch with your inventory rendering, it's not optimized for this. Keep dynamic resolution override at -1 is recommended to have highest fps posible and bug free

Edit 2: This mod is suppose to be used with OC while charging - those OC values that higher than max handheld clocks (460mhz GPU) because TW3 already used it + the dynamic resolutions could go as low as 468p to maintain 30fps by default. If you try getting 60fps with 460mhz GPU you'll get 832x468 resolutions all the time and your fps could jump between 25-40fps depend on situations... or if you locked 956x536 you could get 25-27 average fps....

I followed these instructions but my fps seems locked to 30, it will never go above 30, what am I missing?

What is the best settings {0 to 25} to get at least 30 fps and the best resolution?

Also do I need to delete the 60fps patch to avoid conflict?

I remember the MVG video with his recommended settings, turning dynamic res off and setting the resolution to around 540p.
I've been trying to get that setup but haven't had much luck. I'd love some advice because it seems like I just can't get dynamic res to turn off.

I've got 720 lock and 25/33 fps docked without any overclock

I put 60 fps mod and dyn config tweak. I set up settings.txt for 60fps

To be honest I tried in portable, it runs at 19 fps and I don't feel any difference between 19 and 60 fps on this game... For xenoblade torna for exemple at 20fps with the graphic mod and without overclocking the game runs half speed 60% of the time but here it's totally fine.

I never played on Pc or ps4/ps5 so for real I never see 60fps by my own eyes so I'm not sensitive to it!

So no matter what I do I just can't seem to get this game to run at 60 fps.

1. I copied the 60fps exefs patch
2. I edited and injected a JKSV save filed for settings.txt and added the following lines:
DRGameTargetFrameTimeInMs=14.0
DRCinematicTargetFrameTimeInMs=14.0
DynamicResolutionOverride=11

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills trying to get this to work, editing the settings file back and forth but the only thing which changes are the inventory graphical glitches, even when I'm starring at a wall the fps doesn't go above 30. So I'm convinced the mod isn't working correctly.
Could it possibly be because of my PID? 0100E67012924000

Hey, I don't know what is your goal but I was in the same situation trying everything without results.

Finally it's very simple, don't take the DR ips patch. You just need to export your save with edizon for example , and set up the resolution you want (0 to 25) into the settings.txt
I personally put the 60 fps patch, and I play 720p constant and the fps don't go below 30fps.

It's up to you to try different settings if you want more fps for example, I prefer to have a clean 720p because the game is so blur, now I can play with light effect on and its wonderful

Because you used this
DynamicResolutionOverride
It's explained in first post.

doesn't go above 60.
Hopefully it's a typo and you meant 30. Because you can't get above 60 since you are blocked by system vsync.
What can I say? Read it until it works. Some people replied to me 5 times that it doesn't work for them until it turned out they did a mistake and they were so f*cking sure blame wasn't on their side I got pissed off. That's why I'm not helping since everybody I know personally tested all those versions and it's working.

I've done this exactly but no effect.

I'm downloading the European version of the game now to see if that works better.

I have 0 interest in blaming anyone, I just want help.
I double checked and "VSyncThreshold=0"
I've attached my settings.txt

you have this twice

DRGameTargetFrameTimeInMs

Second one without any value. Dunno how game treats such an unexpected thing.

Ok, so it was the American version which wasn't working, after installing the EU version 01003D100E9C6000 60fps works fine now.

Many thanks.

I owned the game with 3.7 patch but my best game experience so far for me is : 3.4 version + Enhanced graphics options + 60 Fps unlock + 1100x616 as Minimal Dynamic Resolution exefs patch + OC (CPU 1785 mhz, GPU 768 mhz, RAM 1600 mhz).

Thanks to Masagrator for this perfect job.
