I have been seeing a homebrew channel that when ran I can see the dialog box pop up saying something like loading followed by what looks like an IP/samba share that is hosting the boot.dol file to run. I wana say that when loading it didnt show any console debug code or anyhitng just the dialog in homebrew channel that is was loading from an IP.
My question is what homebrew app was used to do this?
Iv played with the LoadMii and TCPLoaders that require a program to be running on a windows pc in order for the wii to access the the win32 tcp server on the pc.
Is this the same thing.
I was thinking of seeing if I can setup preloader to auto boot to a boot.dol that was located on my sd that can spawn/forward to a boot.dol located on a SMB share. this could make editing and testing homebrew pretty easy. I am trying to avoid having to run a client/server on my windows pc in order to access and boot.dol automaticly.
Can LoadMii be automated with preloader .03 to autoboot a boot.dol on a samba share? I have a networked usb harddrive that acts as a samba fs.
just another random thought I had and wanted to see if it could be done.
