If anything, y'all should wait until the PS4 retranslation gets ripped and someone ports those scripts to the Vita version.
At least then there'll be a decent translation to work off of.

I'd like to try a German version to create, as the current English versions are translated by the game is not half.

Only I do not know which files are important for this. Could anyone here write where the files are zufinden if one reads the UMDGen

I remember just what I have ever written up there. I really meant that I will make the English version further, since this unfortunately very little translations entails.

So well, I tried to open the cpk file just for fun but there was no luck. I've been reading the thread and it seems to be encrypted. Any idea about the decryption?

Edit:
Ok, so it's encrypted with PDG, though you can decryt iit by using JPCSP

after you decryted with jpcsp you need to extrack the file with quick bms after re create the full archive or if you have a game version 1.1 instaled you only need to change the small patch file (its a complete pain thrust me)

people are still going at this ?
i thought this project died a long time ago already.

oh well, i'd love to see this done someday, because why not. :P

in any case, there's a number of ways to decrypt the PGD and propably some ways to re encrypt it too, though i did not look much into that when i was messing with the game (that's a long time ago now)
the game requires the file to be encrypted and will not run if decrypted, but there's an easy fix for that.

decrypt the eboot and find a value of C931 at 0x16BD0 in (decrypted) eboot.bin and change it into CE31
the game will now load the archive decrypted instead of encrypted.

good luck :P

i wont work anymore in the original game. i already extracted the necesary resources from the game models sound textures. and soon as i end the fight with the pspsdk and the amglib i plan to make small snapshots. but the game programing is not an easy task (easier on windows) but the console game programing is an other word. yes i plan to remake this game on psp. c can achieve good performance on psp

Yeah, doing a game from scratch is very very very time consuming. Even big companies spent 2-3 years making a game.

So if you're in a one-man team, that will take so much time. Not to mention that many fan projects get rekt before they shed light. Examples Chrono Resurrection and Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes.

But! I support you 100% percent! :yay:
