According to SuperData, the Nintendo Switch has sold over 1.5 million units worldwide. In its financial report, Nintendo said its aim was to sell 2 million units by end of March. Apparently those 2 million aren't Switch consoles sold to customers, but units shipped to retailers. Considering that the 1.5 million units from SuperData are actual sold-to-customer units, Nintendo may have already reached its 2 million target.

As far as Zelda goes, the source states that 9 out of 10 Switch customers bought Zelda.

Now they need to get Arms and Splatoon 2 out stat, or Switches will start collecting dust faster than Wiis did after 2009.

I was trying to find a "This prints money" gif for the news picture, but it seems a Switch one doesn't exist yet. Perhaps someone skilled enough can edit the Switch in this gif?

Man if Switched launched with Monster Hunter, Pokemon or 3D Mario, no way they could have met the launch demand, even months to follow would have been sold out until Xmas. They can barely manage with Zelda, it's sold out and restock is due in April apparently.
