hello so after not have used my cfw swithc for over 2 years, i decided this week to start playing on it again.the only game i had downloaded on tinfoil didnt work,so i decidede to due a fresh install using this guide .

i then download some homebrew games on the homebrew app store, but none of them work. if i launch them from the hbmenu i get a error code:2347-003 (0x75b). if i launch them from the album folder i get a black screen.

anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it? my own guess is that because i already had cfwon the switch ,something has gone wrong.

First of all, never use video guides.
Use either https://rentry.org/CFWGuides or https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/ (but do not mix them)
I've used either one for 2 separate switches.
Read through it and follow instructions exactly.

I'm sure some people will have opinions on which one is better than the other, or which to use and which not but they both worked for me in the end

never use youtube "guides" they always are outdated and mostly click baits. use a good know guide:

https://rentry.org/SwitchHackingIsEasy

all is good reading but these are probably the ones you need:

  1. https://rentry.org/MigrateToAtmosphere1_0_0
  2. https://rentry.org/ExosphereDNSMITM
  3. Grab latest firmware from that Darthsternie Firmware website…
  4. https://rentry.org/UpgradeDowngrade
(from https://gbatemp.net/threads/upgrading-10-0-2-ams-0-12-0-s-to-latest-cfw.614484/#post-9864648)

or follow the next steps:

  • remove any theme you have installed
  • turn off switch and put your SD on your PC (or use Hekate's UMS)
  • update hekate FROM GITHUB
  • update atmosphére FROM GITHUB, and if needed edit hekate_ipl.ini (fuse-secondary.bin file now is called package3)
  • update your payload injector to latest Hekate bin file.
  • make a copy of the SDMC:/atmosphere/contents folder on your PC and delete it from SD.
  • update your sigpatches. you can use the ones here on gbatemp (https://gbatemp.net/threads/sigpatches-for-atmosphere-hekate-fss0-fusee-package3.571543/) or github (itotaljustice)
  • install THE LATEST VERSION (from github) OF any sysmodule you use, Tesla, Mission Control, ftp-light, emuiibo, etc.
  • update any homebrew, if you use themes you need at least update nx-themeinstaller.
  • copy the latest firmware you want to update to sd card.
  • put your sd card on your switch turn on and use DAYBREAK to upgrade your switch.
  • reboot
  • reinstall your themes
  • test all your homebrew and update if needed.
  • reinstall any MODs and cheats for any game you use.

You're probably better off starting with a completely clean system.
That would entail formatting your sd card and bringing your switch close to stock as possible (if not entirely) then use 1 of the guides (and only 1 of them).
We don't know exactly what's going on after using multiple (video) guides.

If you do this, use the guide impeeza linked, it's more friendly imo.

Since you haven't touched your switch in 2 years I would think it won't really matter, unless there's something on there you really want to keep.

But that's just my 2 cents on it

read carefully and make every step BEFORE the next step:
  • Turn off switch and put your SD on your PC (or BETTER use Hekate's UMS)
  • make a copy of the SDMC:/atmosphere/contents folder on your PC and delete it from SD.
  • delete SD:/atmosphere and SD:/bootloader folders
  • if exist delete SD:/SEPT folder
  • download hekate FROM GITHUB no matter if you think you have the latest, download again, extract the file on the ROOT of your SD card
  • update atmosphére FROM GITHUB matter if you think you have the latest, download again, extract the file on the ROOT of your SD card
  • restore the hekate_ipl.ini to your SD:/bootloader folder, if needed edit and change any reference for fuse-secondary.bin to package3
  • update your payload injector (Phone, RCM Loader, Dongle, Tegra, etc.) to latest Hekate bin file.
  • update your sigpatches. you can use the ones here on gbatemp (https://gbatemp.net/threads/sigpatches-for-atmosphere-hekate-fss0-fusee-package3.571543/) or github (itotaljustice)

  • reinstall any MODs and cheats for any game you use.

Your mistake was that you followed a video tutorial.
Probably all you needed to do was install sig patches.
