Sucks that I restarted my PS3, cant play online now :'(

EDIT: wasn't there an old DNS trick that allowed playing online with the old 3.41 firmware? Wouldn't that work on this situation too?

PSN access is blocked on 3.55
there is a DNS hack however expect it to be patched within a day (like always) so dont even bother unless your really desperate to get online

somebody said they tried booting the FTP app and it doesnt start up and gives an error now

You go to Network Settings, then internet connection settings, then custom, and then scroll right until you come to the DNS settings. Then you put in the numbers above

EDIT: I can confirm the DNS bypass thing is working right now, I'm on kmeaws CFW

ok, so they added a new .self file in the PUP
what is it named KaKaRoTo?
and it seems it contains a key that we don't know about

hmm
rms, can't know, they use 0x601 entry id
hrm
filesize?
i still have to download half of the pup
5660160
same filesize as ps3swu.self
interesting
probably
newer updater
older updater?
well
every new key is visible
yeah, probably a newer ps3swu.self that is more secure
but they kept the old one for people upgrading from older firmwares
that's the problem
its technically impossible for them to have add a new decryption key
the new ps3swu.self probably decrypts and uses the new self

I wasn't even aware that there was a new firmware update. Maybe it just hit an hour or two ago though since my PS3 has been on since about 3pm PST. Will end up getting the update anyways since this PS3 is never going to see the wonders of CFW.

Time to start taking bets on how long it'll take for decryption

I tried making chocolate lava cakes the other day in cupcake pan, what a mess, my lava exploded out of the cakes everywhere while baking, was still ok tho, just no lava inside.

We had our grandkids over yesterday and I got a small above ground swimming pool I filled for them to play in. Well today I woke to find 3 ducks swimming around in it. Don't mind really but they are annoyingly loud, quack quack. Gotta drain it today. Guess what were having for dinner, lol.

I used butter instead of vegetable oil, and think that's why they squirted out during baking, who knows
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah i think oil is the right call

  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
plus if you're making brownies or lava cakes for people with dairy allergies, you should use oil instead of butter anyway

I make rum cake for 4th July every year, I make it a week prior and then soak it in rum in the fridge all week. I flip the cake each day, and add little more rum, it soaks it up everyday, so good.

sorry, idk what you mean by a space cake, and even if i did, i'm not really taking requests right now, because otherwise people will get mad at me for taking a request but not making a birthday cake for @Xdqwerty (i'm sorry for that btw bro)
