I think the second analog stick just mimics the face buttons. If I'm right, then it's an 8-directional digital stick and not really analog at all. I was hoping for a proper analog stick.

The games in that list all have control systems where the buttons take the role of a right analog stick (eg. aiming or movement in an fps)

Really? I thought one of them would be the Dpad (ie. dpad for moving, analog for aiming, or vice versa).

Either way, I reckon it's better than nothing if you really want a 2nd analog

I can live with a single analog nub, I just don't understand sony's decision to leave it that way after the redesign. I mean, who (apart from sony) doesn't think that PSP would be better with another analog nub?
I asked 73% of the whole internet* and everybody agreed with me.

so there

What really sucks on this new version is battery life, they reduced the power needed by the umd drive but they also reduced battery capacity
