Sennheiser model questions

Anyone know how good Sennheiser HD 25 SP headphones are?
I saw them for £50 at some shop nearby and thought maybe I should pick it up before its gone.

£50 seems a lot more affordable than £80+ for some 280HD's.
I'm not an audiophile either so I don't know if I'd notice the difference between 280HD's and HD 25 SP's.
My only complaint about the latter is that its rather cheap and flimsy looking.

I would bite the bullet and go for the HD 280 Pros.

As with most number naming schemes, 5 would be middle end, and 8+ would be high end.

Though, unless you don't have the proper equipment (amps/good sound recievers) you won't be able to utilize the full potential of the 280 Pro.

In terms of durability, the HD 280 Pros are quite robust.
