i play a lot of games from different regions and i also play a lot of games from the US that come with updates. by using WUM and installing the SSBB update over the actual update, i avoid any possible complication. also i have never had a 001 error using this method.
loading a game through geckoOS works but if someone who isn't familiar with that process decides to use your Wii and update then you are screwed. that can't happen with WUM since the update no longer exists on the game disc you are playing.
is using WUM as efficient as i think it is?

why do people go on about not wanting to use geckOS, and only wanting to play through disc channel....hmmQUOTE said:GeckoOS.
