Hi there. I am looking into it. I used the iOS save file to make the converter so probably there's differences with the Android one. I'll let you know :)

I wish I could work on Scramble more often but uni has been killing me lately >< I am still alive though.

Update: Structure is the same but your save file has extra blank bytes at the end (00), probably the game does that at some point? But yet, the converted save file ends up being corrupted so I'll still look into that.
could i edit android one after it or is it only for convert it ?

Thanks for that but you can take your time, I'm definitly not in a hurry. My solo remix save is 100% completed so maybe that can explain the few extra bytes as you mentioned.

If it can help you, here is my ipad save file which I managed to transfer from android to ios a long time ago.

I'm not able to update current Scramble Slam points at all, no matter what I do. Tried editing multiple save slots, multiple save files, but it never updates, even after finishing a fight. Only thing I can do is set the previous high score.

Am I missing something? Should there not be a "do you want to save your changes" prompt like the pin editor?

I am slowly working on this. pinky promise. Individual flag editing for scenario/event will come later. I still have a lot of research to do.

After this is finished, is there anything else left in the NEO department?

hi pal when I want to get the version 1 its will error and will say that you need a password for it
... Methinks you're mistaken or have downloaded the editor from somewhere else. There is no password protection or anything of the like. If you still have this problem please share screenshots D:

Thank you VERY much for this converter. I have a reason to play Neo TWEWY PC version without getting and unlocking everything again.

I'd like to say this is a phenomenal effort and I'm sincerely grateful for all of your work, but if you don't mind me asking, have you abandoned this project? I have a bug that doesn't allow me to change any pins in Final Remix, I'm using a Ryujinx save file.

The work is appreciated, the editor is very useful, in terms of its operation, the pin editor for TWEWY final remix gives an error, the maximum amount of exp for the editor is 2147483647, the amount cannot go up more and when exceeding that figure within the game the error occurs. This prevents using the pin editor, since no change takes effect when skipping this error, it is only fixed by removing the pin in-game.

Hi I lost my savefile on pc and was wondering to recover some progress (mastered pins) with this save editor. But I can't manage to apply any modification trought the save editor into the actual save game, and yes I do "save changes" in the save editor.
What am I doing wrong?

Hey everyone. Please forgive me for not working on this for so long.
Let me know if the editor works with the Steam version of the game (released today). If not, I'll update it as soon as I can.

Hi there! I've just tested it on the Steam version of NEO and it works completely fine by the look of things, any errors I got were errors on the Epic Games version I pirated lol.

I'd love to see you update this with more stability and options for both NEO and especially Final Remix. If you ever finish both of those, maybe even an International DS version? but that'd be a shitload of work I'm assuming, it'd just be pretty novel to have one save editor that touches everything TWEWY. Love your work so far! Thank you for all you've done!

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
    I appreciate the insight!
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@TwoSpikedHands just switch, all the knowledge you learned still applies and most of the code and assets should be the same anyway
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    and realistically they wouldn't

be able to play it legally anyway since they need a ROM and they probably don't have the means to dump it themselves

why the shit does the shitbox randomly insert newlines in my messages

It does that when I edit a post.

It inserts a newline in a random spot.
