I guess you navigate through the GUI with Kinect? Why it needs to be plugged? An normal controller method with buttons is acurate and comfortable already, Kinect not.not seeing the issue here... Kinect comes with the console and it's not like you're going to be required to use it...
I wonder how they destroy the disc though? Use rewritable discs and then overwrite them once they're installed?
If Microsoft requires you to wave your goddamned hands at your TV or speak to it in order to navigate the menus, I'll buy you a PS4...I guess you navigate through the GUI with Kinect? Where the hell are you reading that discs are rendered unusable in any way? Do people even read sources anymore?I wonder how they destroy the disc though? Use rewritable discs and then overwrite them once they're installed?
That's pretty cool and is sure to shrink load times.
Always online, remember? Just make it register an unique key burned to that CD only with the server. Once registered, can never be registered again.I wonder how they destroy the disc though? Use rewritable discs and then overwrite them once they're installed?
When I sell my games, it's to GameStop because I'm lazy, and they barely give me anything back, so losing that option isn't a big deal for me.
Probably convenience. I doubt anyone would sell stuff for the price Gamestop pays vs the price they ask for used games. On the other hand, people would actually need to sell (and market, post, etc) the games, which is not that convenient for most. You sell your games to a place that rips you off because you're lazy? I'd ask what is wrong with you but I'm not expecting a smart response...
What's the difference? Once you get to the point where you install a game, you've already opened it up and stick it in, which means it's used even if you've never pressed start at the title screen.you guys aren't reading it fully it's not just used games it's new games as well. once you install it it's yours and can never be sold again just like steam. (if this is true)
If this is true I assume games will be linked to an existing account. Existing services for digital game downloads (Steam, HB, and PSN are the ones I've used) don't seem to put any unreasonable limits on digital redownloads, and even Apple/iTunes has been known to reset download counts in case of verified device/computer failure/replacement.It makes me wonder about hard drive failures. If your hard drive gets messed up or something, will you be able to recover your games?
An array of microwave radiation emitters. So how would they render the disc useless? Obligatory online registration? And what discs will it use, Blu-Ray?
Shipping stuff takes effort, and it's expensive here too, so getting someone to buy a game at a decent price when shipping costs that much is hard. You sell your games to a place that rips you off because you're lazy? I'd ask what is wrong with you but I'm not expecting a smart response...
