but this is betterNo. Since it's going to run Windows 8, they just decided to say "oh fuck it", made the console spherical, and it's going to be called the Magic 8-Ball.
It's spherical, and for all we know it runs Windows 8 and has "magic" in the name. How is it better (or different) than what I proposed?but this is better
*snip*
Probably because they are different pictures because you posted one earlier. It's spherical, and for all we know it runs Windows 8 and has "magic" in the name. How is it better (or different) than what I proposed?

Not yet lolwell Veho certainly derailed this topic...
at least no one is complaining about "required" internet connections or "oh noez yoozed gayms" anymore.
Since no actual info has leaked suggesting keys...you'll probably be fine reinstalling from your discs...It makes me wonder about hard drive failures. If your hard drive gets messed up or something, will you be able to recover your games?
Actually used games hurt game companies, but benefit economy. They basically create revenue out of nowhere (= no added work for the value).True fact: Used games hurt the economy more than piracy
So basically we need both to even it out, right?Actually used games hurt game companies, but benefit economy. They basically create revenue out of nowhere (= no added work for the value).
On the actual news: Derp (via Ars Technica). The user comment at the bottom is pretty good here. I don't see a problem with having a disc in the drive if that's all it's needed to use games with better load times. Better yet, I'm ready to load the stuff from discs to drives if I can install the stuff later on bigger drives if need be. Or if the drive fails.
