What Class No. is your SD card?
I think the read/write speed of the SD card might have something to do with that.

That explains it.
Mine I think is a Class 4 SDHC card, so perhaps the read/write speed does have something to do with the crackling sound on the music.

Is it possible to get PCSX to compile for the WiiU? I know its an older core and hasn't been updated for 2 years but would it be possible to compile it?

I'm not sure. Iv'e heard it could be a better candidate and possibly run alot faster than mednafen runs atm.

the core already exists in retroarch, it wouldn't have to be ported just compiled for wiiu?

All that would be needed should be to add the proper flags I believe, although I'm not sure if that one would require more stuff to it.

The 360 version PCSX interpreter ran at 25-30fps and the 360 is slower hardware.

Im hoping @rioray could look into it too. 25-30 fps would be alot better than the 10-15fps we're getting atm..
So what then would happen to the PPC/dynarec bounty?

On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.
