    Is the 'megazeux' folder supposed to be in the same folder as mzxrun.3dsx? Still playing around to figure out why it might be instantly closing

    Am I supposed to change 'startup_path' in the config?

    No, it's meant to always be in /3ds/....

    Quick reminder in case you missed it. There should be a second fire button for 5200 games. It's needed for Moon Patrol, Dreadnaught Factor, and others. I've pressed everything on the 3DS and I'm pretty sure it hasn't been mapped to anything.

    Oh nice that fixed it. I had to move the files that were in the second megazeux folder into the one with the .3dsx, I'd suggest mentioning that in a readme if there wasn't already one I missed - I had just copied the folder structure from the zip directly to the sd without changing anything

    Edit: would like to verify, are there any performance tweaks to make to the config for new 3ds users, or is it all set up already?

    I haven't, don't worry.

    For MegaZeux? Not to my knowledge. For atari800, the config is automatically generated depending on whether you launch it on an Old or New 3DS.

    Just as a heads up - atari800-3ds 0.2.4 is out. It adds second fire button support for Atari 5200 emulation, as well as a config option to use the 3DS's D-Pad as a joystick (as opposed to the default of mapping to keyboard arrows). Have fun!

    This emulator is fantastic and would like to say thanks :) My request would be for a ZX Spectrum emulator, a port of FUSE maybe ? Thanks again

    I have developed a proof-of-concept port of the PCE emulator for the 3DS and, at least for New 3DS users, the results seem quite promising!

    The PCE emulator also means that you will be able to emulate the Atari ST, Macintosh Plus and IBM PC right on your 3DS!

    No release yet - I'd like to finish sound and keyboard support first - but the initial results seem rather promising.

    OMG, if I could play the original JetPac (The one included within Donkey Kong 64) I would be ecstatic. I would fire up my N64 and DK64 just to play that old Spectrum game.

    Here is a proof of concept release. Sadly, performance isn't perfect, but it should work well enough on the New 3DS for common use-cases. I'd like to add some mapping toggles and a .CIA version before 0.1.0, however I'm not sure when I'll find the time to do that.

    A lot of fiddling around with C code, really. Start by learning C, as well as things like Makefile structure, very well, then start playing with the examples included with devkitPro.

    "PCE" makes me think this is a PC Engine (aka Turbografx-16) emulator. Have you considered renaming it?

    I know a bit of C, so I wouldn't have to rewrite the code just get it to compile and run on 3DS? I would have to write the controls though correct ?

    Oh, sorry. Forgot to document that you need to change the terminal and sound drivers to "n3ds". Updating website as we speak!

    (By the way, you should also set "mono" to 0, as the monochrome 640x400 display takes quite a while to update on the ol' 3DS)

    I'm not the one who named it, and I'm not planning to change names of existing software to avoid confusion on that ground.

    I found an AtariST disk which runs. Speed is ok on n3ds, it need some improvements and joystick emulation and the thing is a great Emulator for the n3ds.

    Sadly, the PCE port will most likely remain a rough proof-of-concept, although I am planning to at least fix the joystick emulation and add some other screen scaling modes.
