Fantastic work. Your GUI looks nice and clean. I'll be keeping an eye open for your release.
nope, that wasn't for you. I replied to the previous poster just before my message wanting an answer from the future.
I want to be a tester
does this patch dlc like FunKiiU?
No, and you're right, I do apologize for that, I just hate the feeling of having to catch up with others, like, almost a kind of feeling of being left behind in the dust, you know? The Wii U scene
was a ticking time bomb and guides/threads are popping up all over the place and here I am trying to keep up with all of it, not a good idea for me to do So I apologize for being antsy about it,
I'll let things settle a bit before I try RedNAND. In the mean time, I still have the USB installation method, besides, I can't use RedNAND anyway due to me not having a big enough card
Not bad... But I wish someone would just make an app like this with an automated ticket grabber that's totally transparent from the user. And you wasted the opportunity to own "WiiUSB" for the name, LOL. (Reminds me of those S'mores Oreos that should have been called S'mOreos.)
Hmm, problem with that is hosting such a program would be illegal, as tickets need to be done outside this site, or at least, maybe it tickets could be spoofed.
Well if it wasn't for legal issues I would have done it too. But by including the tickets directly you are taking some risks.
I really know!
I'm trying to follow all this scene news so I can help everyone correctly, that's sometime going too fast. specially when I'm sleeping ahah
it doesn't mean you can't read about it, just don't try things yet. let other try, and see their result. judge by yourself if it became easy enough for you.
also, if it doesn't become easier, wait for users to make good tutorial to explain properly and clearly what to do. currently it's not aimed at end users but at developers! the team said it and repeated it few times!
it's still in development.
That's what I'm saying, this is very new and we will have users who will create tools to make things easier. look at that USB install method, there are now tools with GUI, it took 10 days.
I don't say it will take 10 days for redNAND too, it could take longer.
The app would grab the tickets from an external ticket site, yes "that ticket site". No tickets would be bundled with the app, so it would be fine to release.
Yeah but that ticket site hosts too many invalid tickets. I think many people would agree the archive is more reliable. What's more you just have to drag an drop it on the app, it's not very hard
I want to be a tester, please!
True, you did make everything very easy. Thank you for this. I'll use it over nUSGrabber.
I'm glad you like it
Looking forward to seeing this made public. I have sent you a PM @Hikari06
Hey guys !
Just to let you know I've been working on integrating DLC support and I'm looking for testers with a rednand to make sure it works
i have rednand and am willing to test
Quick Q, I have some tickets to try the DLC but havent been able to figure out the RAR structure to add the tickets.
Any help would be appreciated.
NVM, figured it out.
In case anyone has doubts:
In the rar file add a folder inside the game folder with the DLC Ticket and named as the ID of the DLC, this is the same ID as the game but the 8th digit is a C instead of a 0. Make sure all letters are in uppercase as this is required for Hexadecimal reading.
Hyrule Warriors ID: 000500001017D800
Hyrule Warriors DLC ID: 0005000C1017D800
This kinda looks like the 3DS freeshop just for Windows (is that a good summary?).
Can i test it?
