V1.1 has just been released!!

Changelog:
  • Saves the modified ticket as a new file instead of replacing the old file.
  • Included an EXE version for Windows 64-bit.
The usage has been updated. ;)

@AboodXD have you or anyone else compared EUR tik to USA tik to figure out how to mod one to another regions? Example: alter the header of EUR tik to match that of USA tik then change +/-2 and try boot? This might help people without their region tiks?

The title is completely different between regions, with completely different cryptographic keys and ticket data is no good. The game data is same, this is when we handle loadiine stuff which is raw data and executables and whatnot. Since we are going around the security by working under different title and limited accessibility (Namely; SD card only) - it all works out even for region free and whatever.

But here we have to give one very solid point of FACT:
Different title, means different keys. Ticket is basically the needed crypto info to install the title. Different region has different title and 100% different key, completely.

No we cannot bruteforce RSA-2048 - that would be magical. Why not also give me some Sega Ringwide HDD rips when you are done those need only RSA-512 bruteforced.

Haha thanks for the info, I (wrongly) assumed the tik was a simple string or binary with headers, my bad.

I will keep my thoughts to myself

I've been away for the last 40 or so pages in the main forum thread for this, but how does it know how to change the last digit (-2 or +2)? What progress was made until you figured it out, because it seemed very random before.

Hi @AboodXD ,
pretty neat tool, thank you a lot.
Is it possible to modifie it so that you acept more parameters (or to be more precise, files) when dragged and dropped?
Would be awesome to e.g. drag all my 5 tik files and let your tool generate 5 tik_modifieds ;)
If not, okay, if yes, would be awesome ;)
Thanks in advance ;)

they need to have a strong line up on the launch titles too. I think they should move metroid prime 4 to the next console because by now it has been quite a while and there's no release date scheduled yet
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
lol there's a guy selling mig switch in usa on ebay for $200/ea he's definitely going to get nailed with dmca by tomorrow
  • ZeroT21 @ ZeroT21:
Wasn't Metroid Prime 4 teased all the way back in 2017? For the switch no less?

  • ZeroT21 @ ZeroT21:
Pretty sure anyone buying the switch just for that got duped

    for $200? rofl.
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
well as far as metroid prime 4 is concerned, the next system probably is similar enough to the current gen they can probably easily just slap it onto a next gen cart and call it good :P

The switch was about 350 in 2017

Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima took the stage at the outset to reveal that Switch will launch globally on March 3, 2017 for $299.99—earlier than some had expected at the price many suspected. https://time.com/4632820/nintendo-switch-nx/
